I love reading, but I don't like buying books. Luckily my local library is great at stocking good books! However, like you, I do have a hard copy of Derek Siver's Hell Yeah Or No as well as How to Live. The linen bound book feels so nice. I'm going to check on Annie Dillard's book. Thanks for sharing!

Also, I totally get it re: not wanting to but books. I use the libraries a ton for digital books, but I have a hard time borrowing physical books and finishing in time for the return 😅 That said, I’ve been buying a lot more used books lately, which has been nice (several on the list came used.) Especially for books like Zen Inklings, and the many fable and folklore books I read, which are no longer in print.
