Great story and lesson within. Love the commentary on "amateur-ish" creative work and channeling that energy into the daily grind, especially when you are a professional/perfectionist it definitely liberates your psyche from the constant focus on having something "just right" before it goes live. That is part of experimentation, a willingness to grow, and being creative without expectation!
Thanks Gabe! Absolutely right. I actually was reminded of the mantra from Sam Harris to “Begin Again” in meditations. Rather than feeling overwhelmed that we are doing it wrong or getting distracted, just tell yourself you’re starting anew. As you said it liberates the psyche
