I'm Writing a Book of Fables!
On Thursday, I led an online session on the Polymath Advantage — I shared the best lessons I’ve learned on the benefits of embracing your inner polymath. I had a ton of fun giving the talk, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees shared some wonderful takeaways they had from the session, some of which I collected in this thread. I was really glad to see folks resonating with ideas like giving yourself permission and managing your internal energy. I’m hoping to give more talks like this in the future.
Today I have some exciting news to share: I’m writing a book of fables!
I’ve been working on them for a little while now, and felt the time was right to start sharing some of my progress on writing the book in public. To kick things off, I’ve published a new video where I share my motivation and inspirations for writing a book of fables:
It feels great to get this news out in the open! But this is only the beginning of my journey. I have a lot of writing ahead of me. This is by far the most ambitious creative project I’ve ever taken on. I’m confident that if I stick to my practice, something wonderful will come out of it.
As always, I’d love to hear from you, and appreciate your support and encouragement through my creative journey. Stay tuned for more updates on the book in future QBF editions!
P.S. Did you recognize the new intro in my video? It’s the Oh Snap animation I shared back in QBF 49! Pretty neat to see creative work that I did for fun come back to support new projects. It’s a great reminder of the compounding effect of creative work. Brick by brick, we build our creative palace.
Until next time,
